Pipetite® Reboot Flexible Seal
How do you seal cleanly around a pipe or cable already in place passing through a wall in a hygienic environment?
Pipetite® provides the answer: a flexible, self-sealing sleeve in hygienic silicone on a 316L stainless steel flange, which replaces sealing silicone and follows movements without breaking the seal. All without mastic or filler material.

What it is for
The Pipetite® ReBoot® solves the common case of a pipe that is already installed: a closed sleeve cannot be slipped over it without dismantling the line. The split design allows the sleeve to be closed around the pipe in place, then sealed with a 316L stainless steel fastening ladder.
Every refurbishment step benefits: a cover plate that has eventually come loose, an ageing sleeve to be replaced, a wall rebuilt afterwards around existing pipework. In all these cases, the ReBoot® avoids taking the line out of service. Allow around twenty minutes for installation on a typical installation.
Once installed, the seal is identical to that of the Pipetite® Standard. The ReBoot® also covers large diameters: sizes 125-275 and 165-380 mm exceed the Standard’s range, up to a 434 mm flange for the largest. Useful on headers and large-section pipework.

Frequently asked questions
ReBoot® or Standard?

How long does it take to install a ReBoot®?
Around twenty minutes on a typical installation, without dismantling the line. This is one of the model’s strengths in refurbishment.
Does the seal hold despite the split?
Yes. The 316L stainless steel fastening ladder closes the sleeve with uniform pressure that restores the continuity of the seal. The self-sealing lips provide the same sealing as a Standard.
How is it trimmed to the pipe diameter?
With the Pipetite® cutting tool, along the moulded marks, like a Standard.
